You make it look so pretty!! We’ve got the nasty rainy weather today. I am ready to see the sun!

Stephanie - January 31, 2013 - 2:43 pm

Lovely! Needed this!

Amy Avery - January 31, 2013 - 7:40 pm

What a beautiful post Patty! If only we all could sing our songs loudly in spite of “whatever” because there was too much living to do. Hope you have a wonderful weekend and sing lots of songs out loud!

Pieces of Sunshine - February 1, 2013 - 12:19 am

Beautifully expressed and captured. Yes we must keep singing and living despite the rain – and the floods from which we narrowly escaped this week.

Tiaras & Tantrums - February 1, 2013 - 6:07 am

we had 4 days of rain and the temp peaked at 62 degrees! Unheard of in Jan here! Today – 18 degrees with a windshield of -9! FREEZING right now!!!

Kim Cunningham - February 1, 2013 - 12:56 pm

Refreshing! Spring is on the way!

Laurie - February 1, 2013 - 1:00 pm

You are a better woman than me…when it rains…I just want to curl up in bed with a book. No camera girl for me:) Great pics.

Dina@4LettreWords - February 1, 2013 - 1:06 pm

It’s certainly been crazier than normal this year. Lovely shots of the rain, Patty!

Kim Stevens - February 1, 2013 - 2:42 pm

And who knew that rain could be such a great photo op! I now love when it rains just enough to capture it in a photo but not enough to still get wet on my covered front porch!

Brenna D (@chicagomama) - February 4, 2013 - 10:52 pm

Beautiful photos of such a beautiful day. Thank you for sharing. Oh , how I wish my doors could be opened up today :)

1440 {28} :: Costa Rica, Jungle Camp

We paddled over two hours down the River Pacuare to reach our Jungle Camp. It was beautiful, really. In a very rustic sort of way. It sat up on a mountainside, in the heart of the rainforest, over-looking the river. We fell asleep and awoke to the sounds of the jungle… birds, insects and the […]

Grace, and Authenticity

I struggled this year with the idea of Grace. Not God-grace, but maybe God-given grace… Unconditional love and acceptance and non-judgement of the human kind. Which is all lovely, until you meet someone who is mean to you or someone you love. Or for me, when untruth hits you in the face. When disappointment rolls […]

Patty you are perfect when you accept the imperfections and embrace the lessons you learn from them… Love your pictures and the true glimpses into who you are. It is easy to see your beauty. It is much more difficult to show people your soul…Thanks for sharing those raw and unrehearsed moments!!!

MG Atwood - January 24, 2013 - 1:46 pm
