Chaos and her friends

pink petunia in macro

Chaos slips in disguised by music and conversation and movement…

flower center macro

She and her friends,
Stress and Haveto and Worry and Fear
and Doitall and Noise and Insecurity (oh, that Insecurity!)

spider web in macro

Threaten to dance all over
my garden of peace and hope.

crying impatience

So I change my focus,
and hide down low
in stillness
and morning dew

dew drops on flower center

Where I can see
tiny teardrops fall
from pretty petals
and what remains

holly leaf dressed in web & dew drops

Into waiting webs
collected and saved,
drowning out Chaos and her friends.

Here,
what is important is clear.

dew drops in morning webs

Peace and hope are caught in the tiny moments of life.

Please link up here tomorrow for a themeless Wordless Wednesday twist on Photo a la {M}ode. Try to shoot in manual, but that’s not necessary. All you need is to include your settings (and if it’s point and shoot, that’s ok, too) and link back to Finding Serendipity. Hope to see you here!

Peace and hope. Yes. This is such a soothing post. Normally I dislike spider webs, but you’ve made them beautiful through your lens. Thank you for the perspective.

Also loved your words that went along with each photograph :) Beautiful! I didn’t mention those at first because I didn’t have my glasses on. Really need those to read the words and I am so glad I did.
