diptych {signs}

diptych {sign}

*****

I learned a bit on this one!

When I first saw Cathy’s {bottom}, I wanted to grab my camera and run! Her’s was soft and elegant, feminine, warm and fuzzy! And what a great message! Mine?  Harsh, distorted, rough. I liked the textures and colors when I took the photo, but when I saw Cathy’s…  {sigh}

I’m trying to stay true, though. I didn’t want to cheat… go grab a new photo that would be {perfect}…

So I slipped them together.

And waalaa!

I’m always amazed when the diptychs pull things from each other,

highlight the strengths,

bring out the colors…

Kinda like friends, right?

Better together.

I didn’t crop Cathy’s at all, and look at how perfectly the chains from her photo line up with the brick “ladders” in the architecture…

{Serendipitous!}

And how the graceful ‘legs’ of her L’s reflect the dancers’.

My round sign almost sits on top of her candlestick, or…

maybe it’s like the bouncing ball in a sing-a-long video, telling us to

Laugh out Loud.

Thanks, Cathy! Loved this one.

patty, you’re right,
except I love yours regardless, the colours and the texture and the scale.

Very cool! They’re great together!

I do agree on the diptychs. The really do create something special when creativity and inspiration are channeled through different eyes and then brought together. Love!
