Fly, Snowbird, Fly

Fly, Snowbird, fly…
Fly high
where the weight of earthly burdens
encumber you no more.
Fly high
where the air is light and crisp and clean;
Fly high
where the sun warms your face,
and dries your tears.
Fly high,
where you float on wing
and find your voice.

Sing, Bird, sing.

And, then.
Come back.
Remember the joys here
in the earthly soils,
the dirt of life,
in living.

Fly, Snowbird, fly.

Kellee - So so lovely! 🙂

I’m sorry I haven’t been around in a while. It has been a month from absolute hell, and there was just no way I was going to catch up on my neglected reader. I zeroed it out yesterday, and will stay on top of it this time! I don’t know what I’ve missed, but I know that I’ve missed you! <3
