Are you doing what you are supposed to be doing?
Do you know your gift?

My friends and I have been talking about how important it is for us to help our children find their gifts. It’s important for their self-esteem, but it is also important so that they might know the joys of doing something they love and were meant to do.

I’m not sure I know what my own gift is {yet}, except maybe that I know my heart. I can see it as clearly as one sees after the rain… When there is no more fog, not even a breeze, and the colors are saturated and every thing seems so crisp and three dimensional. It sits there, down deep, in the raw, no hardness to protect it, no psychology to mask it. And while it is sometimes a burden, I know, too, it is truly a gift.

Mine, I suppose, is the gift of clarity.
